Travel insurance is equally important as the insurance you have for your house or your vehicle.

Apart from the compensation, that travel insurance provides, in case of cancellation of your trip or if your trip will be interrupted due to an event that it is covered, it mainly provides you with emergency medical coverage for your health and so for the person that travel with you (if they are insured).

What is insured?

Travel insurance mainly provide coverage for medical emergencies when abroad and for personal liability.

Furthermore travel insurance compensate you, in accordance with the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy wording, in the event that you:

  • Should you need to cancel or curtail your trip due to unforeseen health issues affecting your trip;
  • Emergency Medical Treatment abroad should you suffer an unexpected injury or illness while abroad.
  • Are delayed en route;
  • Suffer loss or damage while abroad;
  • Personal liability (including legal costs and expenses) against any amount an insured person becomes legally liable to pay as compensation for any claim or series of claims arising from any one event or source of original cause for accidental. 

Travel insurance covers you, and any other person named on the validation certificate travelling with you.

The most significant factor that affect the price of the travel insurance policies is the type and the plan of the policy. Next, it is quite important the duration of the trip, the trip destination and the number of the travelers.

Online Travel Insurance

Within our website, you can purchase your travel insurance policy online. You pay using your credit, debit or prepaid card.

All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of "Alpha e-Commerce" of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). During the payment you are redirected to the secure payment envirenment of the bank. We do not see, record or store these card details in any form.

In case that you decide that the covers of the contract does not meet your requirements, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your policy documents, in order to obtain a refund of your premium.


If you have completed, or you have already started your trip, or if you have made or intend to make a claim, you will not be able to cancel your policy.

In general at the start of their policy:

  • Insured persons must be up to the age of 99 years at the time of taking out travel insurance policy for single trip insurance.
  • Insured persons must be up to the age of 74 years at the time of taking out travel insurance policy for annual multi-trip insurance.
  • Dependent children must be under the age of 18 years and must travel with an insured adult.
Clearly you need travel insurance.

EHIC gives you access to state-provided medical care in European counties. However, it does not include cover for any private healthcare costs, associated medical costs such as mountain rescue or repatriation , or against other significant risks such as cancellations, delays or lost or stolen property.


Once you purchase your travel insurance policy online via our website, within few minutes after the payment, you will receive, a confirmation and your corresponding policy documentation by email, for you to download, save and print as required.

Our Travel Insurance does not cover claims relating to pre-existing medical conditions. Therefore if you or anyone named in the policy has a pre-existing medical condition at the time of purchasing your insurance or booking your journey (whichever is later), we will not be able to cover any claims.
